Join us at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at the University Center of Lake County for a free screening of And So I Stayed, an award-winning documentary about survivors of domestic violence who are incarcerated for killing their abusers in self-defense.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:

• Lake County State's Attorney Eric Rinehart
• Prairie State Legal Services’ Senior Staff Attorney, Courtney Krznarich, and
• A Safe Place Chief of Crisis Response Services And Family Trauma Services Dr. Margarita Garcia
